In short, WooCommerce allows anyone to sell stuff online without knowing programming or hiring a developer.

In this tutorial I am going to show you how to restrict product delivery to certain zip/postal code or pincodes. If you are now shipping things country wide, it becomes essential to stop buyer if they enter un-deliverable area pin-code. Additionally this option helps prevent wrong address submission.

So lets get started.

First of all go to WooCommerce Settings

On WooCommerce Setting page, go to Shipping options

Here edit desired shipping zone or create new shipping zone

In Shipping Zone, you will see a link “Limit to Specific Zip/Postcodes. Click there

Now you have three ways to limit delivery to specific zip codes

  1. If you have a list of pincodes, you can add one pincode per line

  1. If you have thousands of pincodes and you are sure about their numerical sequence, you can add all them as pincode range for example you have pincodes starts from 911001 to 911999 then you can add them as 911001…911999

  1. If you have a several pincodes that start with same digits, you can add them using wildcard. For instance you have many pincodes that starts with 911 then add a line . 911**
