Vivo X6 Plus is a slim, smart looking and tempting phone with a not so powerful processor , a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek 6752. If Vivo had done justice to X6 Plus, it could have used at least Helio X10. An average CPU aside, it is backed by 4GB RAM and a Mali-T760MP2 GPU. The device has a 5.7-inch large FHD AMOLED display but with a low screen to body ratio and lots of space above and below the screen. Coming to the design, especially the front and back panel, Vivo X5 Plus, to a great extent, seems to be inspired by iPhone 6. The device runs on FunTouch OS, which is a custom skin placed on top of Android 5.1. It is a hybrid dual SIM mobile i.e. you can use the second SIM slot either for a SD card or micro SIM card.

In spite of being a 5.7-inch large screen phone, it draws power from a 3000mAh battery that is insufficient for this screen size and leaves a lot to be desired.

Elephone P9000 and P9000 Lite might be be selling from 31st January 2016. P9000 Lite will be likely the cheapest 4GB RAM phone having a price tag of $219 (according to their official website elephone.cc). Elephone P9000 Lite will be launched along with P9000. Both variants have 4GB of RAM and Helio P10 SoC but have different combination of other features. P9000 Lite doesn’t have a fingerprint touch ID, on the other hand P9000 comes with an instant recognition fingerprint reader that can unlock the phone/apps in 0.3 seconds. P9000 display makes the most of its rear panel, that is why it is almost a bezel less phone with a whopping 82% screen to body ratio.

Let’s take OnePlus Two as an example, Oneplus Two 4GB model is being sold at around $380 and its CPU and GPU are extremely powerful (Snapdragon 810 octacore and Adreno 430). On the other hand, R7 Plus is featured with a much lower version of Snapdragon processor and Adreno GPU(Snapdragon 615 and 406). Bearing what in their mind, they are selling such a low configuration at higher price?
